Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Candidate must be eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Ability to obtain or currently hold appropriate state licensure as an SLP
- Familiarity with IEP process and experience providing services in schools (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and collaboration with educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support personnel to support multidisciplinary interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development
- Stay informed about current best practices in school speech-language pathology
