This is a fantastic opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic school environment. What you need to succeed:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for or possession of required state licensure
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate status
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Desire to work with children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting education teams
What youll do:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students as part of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) implementation
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop therapy goals based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and student evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow staff to support student learning and growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
- Embrace growth and learning during the CFY experience, with active mentorship and guidance
