Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) Year with intent to obtain ASHA CCCs
  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as a speech-language pathologist
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Eagerness to learn from seasoned SLPs and grow professionally
  • Compassion for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions
  • Deliver dynamic therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
  • Collect and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Offer training and resources to educational staff as appropriate
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for optimal student support
