Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) and intent to obtain SLP licensure
  • Strong desire to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and growth as a developing clinician
  • Ability to adapt strategies for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students speech and language strengths and challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support learning and communication across school settings
  • Document progress accurately and prepare required reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and guidance for student success
