This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services within educational settings. The position is contracted and based in Centralia, WA, serving students from early childhood through high school levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification and experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with pediatric specialization preferred
- Familiarity with speech and language development in early childhood, elementary, middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) students
- Experience working across a variety of age groups, including Pre-K, Kindergarten, and preschool populations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for students across multiple grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that support student communication goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to effectively support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
