Multiple opportunities are available in a supportive school environment with options for working with elementary, preschool, or secondary students. Youll enjoy working a consistent 37.5 hours per week within a collaborative team that values your expertise.
Available caseloads include:
- Elementary (grades K-6) several positions focus on serving younger learners.
- Developmental preschool (ages 3-5, not in kindergarten) a specialized role that may also include a small elementary caseload.
- Secondary (grades 7-12 across two buildings) work with older students navigating new communication challenges.
Ideal candidates possess:
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Experience or a keen interest in school-based speech-language services
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
- Dedication to supporting diverse student needs
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Complete required documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to the success of each student on your caseload
