Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- SLP CA credentials (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or skillset aligned with pediatric populations within educational settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy, in-person, and school-based SLP services
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to fostering student growth and engaging with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs); monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support holistic educational experiences
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and federal guidelines
- Offer direct and indirect support services for a diverse caseload across grade levels
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
