Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment near Central Square, NY. This part-time, summer position covers two school sites and runs from July 6th through August 14th, offering valuable experience with a diverse pediatric caseload.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Holds (or in process of obtaining) New York SLP License and TSSLD certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates both welcome to apply
- Experience in educational settings serving school-age children (K-12) is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to adapt to district-specific systemstraining will be provided
- Willingness to travel between assigned school sites; paid travel included
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students across elementary through high school levels
- Contribute to IEP team meetings and provide skilled input in developing student goals and supports
- Maintain thorough, timely records and documentation according to district and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members for cohesive student support
- Participate actively in paid administrative time, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Engage in training provided by the district on their IEP management system and procedures
