Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in a school setting and are dedicated to empowering students across K-12 grades. This full-time, in-person role, spanning from ASAP through June 4, 2026, takes place in the vibrant Jackson County area. Your daily schedule runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, supporting learners through direct interactionteletherapy is not available for this assignment.

Your expertise will foster communication skills, address speech and language challenges, and collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans. If youre passionate about enhancing student success and collaboration, this opportunity is crafted for you.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Oregon SLP licensure required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience and confidence working with K-12 students.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Commitment to working on-site within school hours.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students.
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, goals, and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute your expertise to a collaborative environment.
