Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across various grade levels as a speech-language pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and families while helping students unlock their communication potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
  • Previous experience working with children in educational settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Effective time management and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students eligibility for services
  • Develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in accordance with school district and legal requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as an integral member of the student support team
  • Provide consultation and support to staff regarding language and communication strategies in the classroom
