This full-time contract role places you onsite with a supportive educational environment, serving elementary and high school students. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with 40 hours per week guaranteed and four positions available to match your expertise and preferences.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Texas is mandatory
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing school-based caseloads at the elementary or high school level
- Must be available to work fully onsite; virtual roles not available for this assignment
- Cannot accept candidates with CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in compliance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with instructional staff and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for evaluations, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs throughout the academic year
- Participate in faculty meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development sessions as required
