This contract opportunity is perfect for both experienced SLP-CCC professionals and Clinical Fellowship Year candidates who want to develop their skills in pediatrics and school-based settings. Multiple SLPs are needed to support various schools in the Palm Desert area for the 2025-2026 school year, working a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
This role involves a diverse caseload, where youll serve children across different grades and agesexact groupings will be confirmed as the school year approaches. Your days will be filled with hands-on therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and case management duties, such as drafting IEPs and delivering both direct and indirect services. Youll be instrumental in helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive within their academic and social environments.
Qualifications:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license or valid CA CTC
- Skilled in all typical SLP duties: IEP development, assessments, direct/indirect therapeutic services
- Background in pediatric care or previous school-based experience preferred
- Open to SLP-CCC and CFY applicants
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Passion for serving children with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
