Job Description

A school-based position is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025-2026 school year in Palm Desert, CA. This contract role involves serving multiple schools within the district, providing essential speech therapy services tailored to a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress.
  • Manage caseloads for school-aged children; specific ages and grades to be confirmed closer to the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Ability to work independently without district-provided supervision.
  • Familiarity with standard SLP duties such as evaluations, therapy, and IEP development.
