A full-semester contract opportunity is available for several Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Palm Desert, CA, with assignments across multiple schools. This position offers the chance to provide essential speech-language services to pediatric populations within an educational setting.

Location: Palm Desert, CA 92211
Contract Duration: Full Semester (NSY 25-26)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Multiple schools, age groups and grades to be determined closer to the school year

Qualifications:

• Valid California SLP license or California Clear Teaching Credential (CTC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required for newer clinicians
• Familiarity with IEP development, speech and language evaluations, and delivering direct and indirect speech therapy services

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy to students and offer indirect support as needed
• Collaborate with school staff to support student communication goals
• Manage caseload across multiple school sites to meet students needs

Additional Information:

• No district-provided supervision (e.g., paraeducator, RBT, CNA, LPN) available
• Age groups and grades will be finalized prior to the start of the school year
