Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital speech-language services to students from elementary through high school for the 2026-2027 academic year. You will work onsite full-time, supporting learners with a range of disabilitiesfrom mild to severein a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist certification required
- SLP-CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Skilled at providing services to diverse student populations, including those with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and adapting strategies for individual needs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services onsite to students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Conduct assessments, develop individual treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records, data, and required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and other educational staff to create effective learning and communication strategies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and goal planning as part of a supportive team
- Employ evidence-based practices and flexibility to meet a variety of student needs
