A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Cassopolis, MI, providing specialized services to students with diverse needs, including emotionally impaired, moderately cognitively impaired, and severely impaired populations. This role offers a rewarding experience working within a school setting from April through the end of the academic year, with potential extension into summer for Extended School Year (ESY) programs.
Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 55 students, delivering individualized speech and language therapies, collaborating with educational staff, and utilizing teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan SLP License
- Experience working in school settings
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy and school-based caseload management
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus
