Job Description

Located in Cassopolis, MI, this full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity supports K-12 students in a contract role starting in April through the end of the school year, with the possibility to work during the summer Extended School Year (ESY). The position involves serving a caseload of approximately 55 students, including those who are emotionally impaired, moderately cognitively impaired, or severely impaired.

Key responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services tailored to the diverse needs of the student population, collaborating with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitoring student progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications and experience preferred:

  • Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Michigan SLP License
  • Experience working in school settings
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy methods
  • Ability to manage a large caseload of students with varying levels of impairment
