Job Description
Make a positive impact supporting students through speech-language services in a collaborative educational environment. A contract opportunity is now available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric experience to work with school-aged children. Located near Casa Grande, AZ, this role offers the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with teachers, administrators, and families to advance students communication skills and learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services for students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine individual student needs
- Develop tailored treatment plans and measurable goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and district procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate regularly with families and staff to provide updates, recommendations, and support
