A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a vibrant school setting in Cary, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting students' communication development through tailored speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Provide consultative services and training to school staff regarding communication strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with educational standards and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
