Job Description
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in grades K-5 at a school location in Carpentersville, IL. This role offers 37.5 hours per week supporting elementary students through specialized speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
Qualifications:
- Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with SLP endorsement
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, particularly elementary grades
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology best practices and school-based intervention techniques
- Ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
