Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Carpentersville, IL. This contract role offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek and is ideal for candidates focused on working with elementary-aged students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
  • Experience or certification as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP is preferred
  • Ability to provide speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-5
  • Background working in school settings including elementary, middle, or high schools is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy assessment and intervention for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal planning
