Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid SLP license for the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred
- Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs
What Youll Do:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide targeted therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address students speech or language challenges
- Document and track student progress while maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines
- Offer support and guidance for generalization of skills within the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student programming
