Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist working on-site in a dynamic school environment in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers, FL area. This full-time contract position, with flexible opportunities for part-time schedules, begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027. Multiple elementary, middle, and high school locations are available, offering a variety of settings and age groups for a rewarding career experience.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required
  • Current Florida teacher certification and/or an active FL Department of Health SLP license
  • Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Completion of state credentialing, including fingerprint requirements (processes for transferring or updating fingerprints/JLA badge will be supported)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct SLP services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop treatment plans and strategies tailored to student needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress and collaborate on IEP teams
  • Support staff and families with effective communication strategies and resources
  • Travel between assigned school sites as needed
