Job Description

You'll work a steady 37.5-hour week in a school environment, focusing on developing communication skills with a broad age range of students. Collaboration, compassion, and dedication are highly valued as you engage in both direct and indirect speech-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP License or CA CTC credential required
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech services
  • Knowledgeable in conducting evaluations, writing IEPs, and implementing therapy plans
  • Open to Speech Language Pathologists with CCC or those completing their CFY
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and diagnosis of language and speech disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy services to K-6 students in both individual and group settings
  • Develop, write, and monitor IEPs and progress reports
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, fellow specialists, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state guidelines
