Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in a school setting in Canutillo, TX. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to support student communication and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
