What Youll Need:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience with a variety of student populations: early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs in a school environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students of varying ages
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and challenges
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions, using evidence-based approaches and creative activities
• Provide progress updates and consult with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation as required by school standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing comprehensive support plans for students
