This contracted opportunity begins August 2026 and runs through late June 2027, offering you a rewarding school-year experience near Canton, Michigan. You will work onsite, collaborating with educators and families to empower students in need of speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SLP-CCC credential required
- Demonstrated experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Comfortable serving a diverse K-12 caseload
- Willing and able to provide in-person, not virtual, services
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in a supportive, inclusive environment
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education for SLPs
