Job Description

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a rewarding, full-time assignment supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. As a contract SLP, youll collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop essential communication skills that pave the way for academic and social success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP procedures
  • Ability to work onsite throughout the duration of the contract (no virtual work)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support inclusive learning environments
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student goals and progress
  • Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Deliver both individual and small-group interventions to promote student growth
