Make a real difference in students lives as a contract Speech Language Pathologist for middle schoolers. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working with 6th to 8th grade students in an engaging academic environment situated near Canton, MI. Youll collaborate with educators and families to deliver impactful therapy tailored to every students unique needs, while enjoying outstanding support and benefits.
What Were Looking For:
- Current Michigan SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in school settings working with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

What Youll Do:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade
- Design and implement individualized education plans and speech-language therapy interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Employ evidence-based strategies and keep up-to-date with best practices in school and pediatric speech therapy
