This role is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking part-time hours (15 per week) in a school-based setting. Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current California Speech-Language Pathology license and CTC (California Commission on Teacher Credentialing)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and elementary populations
- Open to candidates at various career stages: SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and those with school or healthcare SLP backgrounds
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions to elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as needed
- Support classroom teachers in adapting communication strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment conducive to student growth and engagement
