Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. In this dynamic educational environment, you'll work 35 hours per week providing essential SLP services that help shape young learners communication and academic success. Desired Qualifications:

  • Active California SLP License and California CTC required
  • Experience with pediatric speech-language evaluation and intervention
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities, including IEP development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commitment to working with elementary-aged students
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants also encouraged to apply
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and deliver evidence-based therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct therapy to address articulation, language, social communication, and fluency needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
