This in-person, contract position spans Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland Counties, supporting children ages 3-5. Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification is required
- Proven experience working with early childhood populations, especially ages 3-5
- Familiarity with school-based or early intervention SLP practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based strategies and individualized support plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, tailoring interventions for early intervention age groups
- Assess communication strengths and areas for growth, administering appropriate evaluation tools
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and support staff to enhance language support across settings
- Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and parent consultations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
