Qualifications & Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings strongly desired
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop tailored treatment plans and set measurable goals for progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and updates to team members and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress per school and district guidelines
- Offer training and guidance to staff and families to carry over strategies into the classroom and home
