Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language support in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist in the Sennet, NY area, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 26, 2027. As you work with a diverse range of K-12 students, you'll have the chance to make a positive impact on those facing mild to severe disabilities, including autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down syndrome.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current, valid New York State SLP license and active TSSLD certification required
• Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Comfortable providing services both onsite and via teletherapy, as needed
• Experience working in schools with varied caseloads, including K-12 populations
• Knowledgeable in best practices for supporting students with a range of disabilities
• Strong collaborative and communication skills with teachers, families, and support staff

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy to students
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation on student progress, assessment, and services
• Consult with teachers and families to support student communication goals in the classroom and at home
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations
• Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities to reach and support students effectively
