Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active licensure to practice as an SLP in New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of elementary, middle, and high school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings of students referred for speech and language services
• Create and implement individualized therapeutic interventions to address varying communication challenges
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students goals within the academic setting
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to the development of student plans
• Maintain thorough records and progress notes in accordance with school and legal requirements
