Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in New Jersey (NJ)
- Prior experience in a school-based role is highly preferred
- Familiarity with a range of student ages and developmental stages (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff
- Deliver direct therapy services to students according to their needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other service providers regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
