Job Description

This upcoming school year, youll work closely with a caseload of approximately 45-50 students presenting with a variety of needs, including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment. Your expertise will help empower young individuals to realize their communication potential in a supportive educational setting.

What were looking for:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Maryland SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with secondary-age students is beneficial
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in the secondary age range
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Adapt interventions to support a diverse range of communication challenges
