Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license (required)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with K-12 aged students a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students in need of speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy to students, adapting approaches to support diverse learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students progress and growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs
