Job Description

Youll work with a diverse K-12 caseload, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other specialists to provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication services. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their academic and personal goals.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license (required)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop targeted treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to a K-12 student population, adapting interventions for a range of needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, evaluations, and student progress
  • Participate in school meetings, providing insights on communication strategies and student development
