Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts SLP license (required)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with K-12 aged students a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students in need of speech and language services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy to students, adapting approaches to support diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students progress and growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs
