Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working full-time within an Autism Spectrum Disorder PreK classroom. Provide essential speech and language services in a collaborative setting, helping children achieve communication milestones early in their educational journey.

In this contract role conveniently located near Cambridge, MA, youll work onsite with a small group of 6-8 students. The position follows a consistent schedulestaff hours are from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm, with students present from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Participate in a welcoming, team-oriented environment focused on impactful, individualized care for preschoolers on the spectrum.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Recent experience supporting children with autism and other developmental differences, especially ages 3-5
  • Background working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress tracking
  • Ability to collaborate with special education staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions, both individual and small-group, within a PreK ASD program
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct services aligned with each students IEP
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and caregivers to enhance overall student progress
  • Document and report on student outcomes and maintain compliance with all records and timelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, student-centered classroom environment
