Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Cambridge, MA, providing onsite services within a school setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with diverse age groups, including early childhood, elementary, and PreK through 8th grade students. The focus is on delivering impactful speech and language therapy services to support student communication development across these grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from PreK to 8th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies

Qualifications:

  • Valid MA Speech Language Pathologist License
  • DESE Certification for school-based practice
  • Experience or interest in working with early childhood and pediatric populations
  • Ability to provide therapy onsite within the school environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
