Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in pediatric or school settings
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with diverse student populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each students unique challenges and strengths
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, IEP goals, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide consultation and resources to support staff in meeting students needs
