Desired Qualifications:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure
- CA CTC credential
- Proficiency in school-based SLP support, including SLP-CCC, CFY, and pediatric healthcare experience
- Effective in working with elementary-aged students, adapting strategies to meet diverse needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Dedication to evidence-based assessment and intervention methods
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
- Mentor and support clinical fellowship year (CFY) professionals if applicable
