Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will help support childrens communication development in an engaging, collaborative educational environment. This role offers the chance to work 35 hours per week, delivering direct and consultative services as part of a dedicated team.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP licensure and certification
- CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) authorization
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs holding CCCs welcome
- Experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Collaborative, adaptable, and organized professional demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech, language, and communication needs within an elementary setting
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy, as well as consultative services to educators and parents
- Document progress and foster communication with parents and school staff
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning atmosphere focused on student growth
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
