This full-time position involves collaborating with students across various age groups and delivering services as part of a supportive school-based team. Youll have the chance to shape educational outcomes while working with diverse caseloads, ranging from early intervention through adolescence, and you may have the opportunity to engage in teletherapy as well as on-site work.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid and current California SLP Licensure required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, including with pediatric populations
- SLP-CCC or candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Background in healthcare-related speech-language pathology advantageous
- Teletherapy experience welcome, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on IEP goals
- Deliver high-quality therapy services in-person or via telepractice, as needed
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Manage a student caseload while fostering positive student relationships
