Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving a vibrant school community in the California, MD area. This rewarding contract opportunity offers both an Early Intervention position for 11 months, as well as a K-12 opening, meeting the diverse needs of students at various developmental stages. The assignment runs from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027, for a full-time schedule within a dynamic educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Maryland SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data-driven interventions
- Exceptional communication and organization abilities
- Genuine passion for supporting children and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students in Early Intervention or K-12 (based on assignment)
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute proactively to IEP meetings and support positive school-wide initiatives
- Utilize evidence-based practices to foster communicative competence among diverse learners
