Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity available in an elementary school setting in Bushnell, FL. This contract position for the current school year offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours to best fit your availability. Your expertise in pediatric speech language pathology within schools will support elementary students in achieving their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored for pediatric populations in the school environment
- Maintain documentation and meet all compliance requirements related to student services
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist license is required
- Experience working as an SLP in school and pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to student progress and professional growth
