Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant school environment near Burnsville, MN. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, providing consistent, meaningful work throughout the academic year.

In this role, youll work onsite for 32 hours each week, collaborating with educators, families, and school staff. As details regarding caseload are finalized, your flexibility and expertise will be valued as you tailor interventions and strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Desired Experience & Requirements:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Minnesota
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic caseload assignments
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students, developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal education guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
