Make your impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting, providing essential communication support to students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative, well-equipped school environment with a dedicated caseload, and focus on meaningful progress for each student you serve.
This opportunity is open to two professionals, working 37.5 hours per week, beginning September 8th, 2026, and concluding June 10th, 2027. You'll focus your expertise within a single building, supporting 20-40 studentsprimarily those in Setting 4 programsensuring continuity and deep connection with your caseload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Minnesota (please attach with application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Expertise supporting diverse student populations; experience in Setting 4 programs is especially beneficial
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student services and progress
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development
