Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity making an impact in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist serving in a school-based, contract position near Burnsville, MN. This role is designed to provide expert support for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students, offering both continuity and new perspectives during a crucial coverage period. The assignment runs full-time, 37.5 hours each week, starting as soon as possible and lasting through June 4, 2026. There may also be additional summer evaluation responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • School-based SLP experience, especially with ECSE caseloads, is strongly desired
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to ECSE students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, create reports, and collaborate on eligibility and placement decisions
  • Communicate progress and therapy plans with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students functional communication, social interaction, and academic access
  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical records and documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
