Step into a rewarding, contract-based role as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting early intervention for students near Burnsville, MN. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is available immediately, running through June 4, 2026. The primary focus is providing leave coverage for the ECSE SLP for the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility of taking on some summer evaluations as well. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience delivering school-based speech therapy, ideally in early childhood settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and support a diverse group of students
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with special education regulations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student goals
- Maintain clear records and progress notes in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Engage in eligibility and progress meetings as needed, offering insights and recommendations to the educational team
