Job Description
A contract opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage for an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) SLP through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, with potential summer evaluation work. This position is based on-site in Burnsville, MN, supporting a public school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students under special education guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the educational team
- Participate in meetings and contribute to students' educational planning and support
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong knowledge of ECSE protocols and special education services
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the contract
Location:
- Burnsville, Minnesota (on-site work required)
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract term from ASAP through June 4, 2026
