Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Burnsville, MN. This onsite contract position offers a caseload encompassing a diverse group of students within the kindergarten through 12th-grade range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, addressing individualized education plans and goals
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school district regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload (35-40 hours per week) effectively
