A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized speech and language services within a K-12 school setting in Burnsville, MN. This contracted role spans the current school year, covering multiple leave absences from the start date through June 11, 2026. The position requires on-site presence and supports students across a varied caseload during regular school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with students' individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records according to district policies.
- Provide coverage for multiple leaves, ensuring continuity of services for students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is mandatory.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings (K-12) strongly desired.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and handle multiple assignments effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
Location and Hours:
- Position is located in Burnsville, MN, requiring on-site work.
- Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
