Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational environment this upcoming August through November as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist. In this full-time contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting K-8 students, helping them thrive academically and socially by delivering essential onsite speech and language services. Collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team focused on the growth of every student and your continued professional development.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Wisconsin SLP license is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in educational settings and with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
  • Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs for diverse student populations
  • Teletherapy or healthcare-based SLP background is an asset
  • Effective communicator with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a K-8 caseload, supporting students with various communication needs
  • Administer and interpret assessments, develop targeted intervention plans, and document student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents and participate actively in IEP meetings
  • Build a supportive, engaging environment that encourages students confidence and communication skills
  • Maintain up-to-date records and comply with district and state regulations
